John entered the real estate industry at the age of 21 years old. At the age of 23, John was one of the youngest Real Estate Brokers in Wyoming.

He immediately became distinguished as one of the Top Agents in the city and was a multi-million dollar producer. In his first year in real estate, John achieved the #3 sales agent spot in the largest real estate firm in the state of Wyoming.

Within two years John moved to RE/Max. A move very rarely attempted by rookies. However John was up to the challenge. He soon became the top agent at RE/max Properties of Cheyenne. Over the next 5 years he remained one of the top agents in the city.

In the fall of 1996, John made a trip to Memphis, TN to visit his Grandfather and fell in love with the south. Soon after being back from his trip he packed up and moved to Memphis. After 1 year in Memphis John’s sales experience, work ethic and shear determination helped him rank in the Top 100 Agents Memphis Area Association of Realtors. He is currently in the top 1% of all agents in Memphis. In 2003, he was ranked in the "Top 10" of all RE/Max agents in the state of Tennessee. By 2004 John was inducted into the RE/Max Hall of Fame. Only 1% of all RE/Max agents ever achieve this life time recognition award for sales volume.
